Design of software module for paraglider landing simulator
Šulc, Dalibor ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is software designed to simulate landing of the paragliding wing. It means the development of the mathematic model describing the final stage of flight and landing. The model comprises the effects of controls (brakes, speed bar, weight-shifting). One part of the thesis is the description of the implementation in C# language with complete source codes.
Impact of the Instantaneous Weight of Vehicles on their Stopping Distance
Motl, Jakub ; Ptáček,, Petr (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is engaged in analysis of braking process of vehicles, especially heavy utility vehicles, with regard to their instantaneous weight. This thesis features survey and division of braking systems and function of brakes including schemes and descriptions. Also there is introduce of some systems improving vehicle properties. Furthermore this work puts mind to possibilities of examination of brakes, measurement of braking distance and braking retardation namely in brake test rooms or by outdoor driving tests including descriptions of particular methods and equipment. There is also mention about legislative requirements for braking distance and braking retardation. The conclusion of this thesis compares numerically predicted braking distance and real braking distance measured for factual vehicle during outdoor driving test
Experimental Identification of Brake System NVH
Drtílek, Juraj ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This Diploma Thesis is dedicated to solve the source of noise, observed during braking processes on tested vehicle, called Gouki noise and has been worked out in corporation with Federal Mogul company. The aim of this work to create test methology, which allows to experimentally detect the source of undesirable noise and eventually suggest next steps in its prevention.
Proposal of electro-hydraulic system of main landing gear actuatuon for small training aeroplane
Skřivánek, Jan ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
This thesis studies the design of an electro-hydraulic landing gear and brakes control system of a trainer aeroplane. In the first part there is a basic draft of the landing gear kinematics and its loads during gear retraction, flight and landing. Braking conditions are also analysed. The thesis then focuses on the design of hydraulic circuits and their control. Simulations for studying the dynamic characteristics of the braking proportional valve and the course of plane braking were created in Simulink. There is also a brief section about reliability of the proposed system.
Class Super 2000 Rally Cars
Ratiborský, Pavel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is divided into three points. The first section is divided into the basic design elements of the Super 2000 cars and briefly describes their function. In the second section is a call for representatives of this class, described the design and comparison with a standard car. The last point is outlined the possible future development.
Conception of terrain vehicles UTV
Béreš, Matej ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
Review article, which is concerning about constructions and arrangements of particular components of utility terrain vehicles. Components are being judged in terms of driving, comfort and value attributes in particular chapters of this thesis. Thesis gains its information mainly from publications about automotive components and official manufacturer brochures. Individual vehicles are mentioned just marginally in this thesis, because the main part of thesis deals about suitability of particular constructions for concrete conditions.
Formula Student Braking System
Trna, Lukáš ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Describe entire information about design of respective component in Formula (category Student) braking system is object of this thesis. Processing is divided to four main areas. The first one describes basic components in braking system, which goes on analysis of braking system in present used Formula Student Dragon 1. The second one, more spread part, consists of braking system proportioning for Formula Student Dragon 2, respecting pieces of knowledge from first generation Formula. The third part involves design single components of braking system for second generation Formula. This design is supported by measurements and results of calculations. The conclusion of master thesis involves design of caliper model and its FEM analysis.
ESP/ESC Impact to Behavior of Vehicle
Weigel, Filip ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on active safety - ESP. System ESP greatly improves stability of vehicle while turning. The thesis analyses modelling, brake functionality, subordinate systems of ESP - ABS and ASR, physical forces and phenomenons, model example, analysis of problem, design of model, implementation of model and experiments evaluation of implemented model in UPPAAL enviroment. The goal of the thesis is to prove that ESP system helps to stabilize vehicle while turning by simulation of vehicle model. Results are presented in well-aranged graphs side-by-side. It is possible to analyze the behaviour of vehicle while turning with ESP or without ESP.
Conception of terrain vehicles UTV
Máca, Jiří ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This review type bachelor thesis is dealing with conceptual solutions of Utility terrain vehicles. Individual chapters are describing main functional groups and different options of their construction. These options are analysed in terms of suitability for given application in utility and sport terrain vehicles, their manufacturing complexity and costs. Specific vehicles are mentioned only marginally.
Formula Student Braking System Design
Štylárek, Milan ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is design of brake system of new car Formula Student class – Dragon 3. This car was built by students of faculty of mechanical engineering on Brno university of technology. Brake parts selection is described as well as designing hydraulic brake line circuits optimized for stable braking behavior on tracks of Formula Student competitions. One of main parts of this thesis is design of front and rear custom brake discs with related parts. These parts are FEM analyzed. In the end the whole brake system fitted on Dragon 3 car is tested on track and its performance is analyzed too.
